We're just off a very long and intense weekend of recording a batch of new songs, most of which you'll hear Saturday night if you are at Tasty World. Thanks to Mr. Will Thrift for travelling far to lend a hand on the board and knobs.

Thanks to all who came out for our big homecoming weekend at Cypress Creek in Waycross, GA. We had two great shows, shared refreshing beverages with lots of old friends, made some new friends, enjoyed the fine hospitality of Lita and the gang at Cypress Creek, had lunch at Wong's Palace and mama's place, and rocked Waycross like in the old days. Now we're looking forward to the next round... April 4th and 5th... back in Waycross. We really appreciate the great response.
Next show is Friday, February 8 at world famous Allen's Bar & Grill in Athens, GA. This will be an early show... starting at 9pm. That's at least three hours of Hooker rock and roll, so go ahead and make your taxi reservations for the ride home. There is no cover for this show... let's fill it up and make it a big time in the Classic City.
One other announcement... the next Solid Gold Saturday Night show at Tasty World has been moved to Saturday, March 8. The lineup includes Holy Liars and Rollin' Home. Don't miss this show. See y'all at the bars.

Well, it's been a busy two weeks for The Hookers. Thanks to all who joined us at Tasty World on December 6th. It was a bit like the early days in BFH history. Things happend. That's about all we can say. And congratulations to Ramsey and Jake. We had fun playing their engagement party this past weekend. That's the sign of a strong relationship... a gal who gets excited when her future husband is dancing with a bunch of Hookers.
So, that's a wrap on 2007 for The Bearfoot Hookers. Thanks to all who came out to support us. We had great shows. We had one or two that we've had second thoughts about. But that's the way it goes. As Tyrus says, rock and roll ain't pretty. We're currently booking shows for January and February so stay tuned and come on out in 2008 as The Bearfoot Hookers fight and claw our way into our fifth year of rockin' way harder than our doctors say is good for us. And in honor of our fifth year, we'll be naming 2008's show series... The Fifth of Whiskey Tour. See y'all at the bars.

So, we all had a good time down in Waycross at the 10th Annual Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival. Congratulations to Dave Griffin and all those involved in organizing another successful event. This one was the best we've been a part of. Looking forward to next year.
Next show is Thursday, December 6 at Tasty World in Athens. This will be a honky tonkin' redneck affair for sure as we'll be joined by King Cotton and Levi Lowrey & the Community House Band. Hope to see y'all there.

It's not like The Bearfoot Hookers to be too nostalgic (we don't remember much of the past few years). But join us this Saturday, September 26 as we go back in time to the place where The Bearfoot Hookers played several of our first gigs as a band, and where members played in bands many times before. World famous Allen's Hamburgers has reopened in a new Hawthorne Ave. (Athens, GA) location and we'll be there on Saturday night to revive the old spirits of Hooker rock & roll. We've heard that the new Allen's looks a whole lot like the original... except now they sell liquor.
Show starts at 10pm with former Skillet member J. Rood playing a solo set (I'm bettin' he won't be playing solo for long). Then The Bearfoot Hookers will be rockin' Allen's like in the old days. Expect a few old Skillet tunes at the end of the night. Y'all come on out after the game and spend the evening with some Hookers at Allen's. That's old school indeed. See y'all at the bar!

Join The Bearfoot Hookers as we host another round of Solid Gold Saturday Night at Tasty World in Athens, GA on Saturday, September 15. We've got another great lineup, starting at 10pm with Hayshaker from Waycross, GA, followed by Carolina Shitkicker. The Hookers will close out the night in style. You won't want to miss this night of kickin' country flavored rock & roll.
And to top it all off, Saturday night will be the final night of Tasty World's 10th Anniversary celebration. So be sure to give Murphy (Tasty World owner) a big ol' Hooker kiss and tell him you love his bar and his beer is delicious. Then buy some, and tip your bartender.

Thanks to all who came out to the Hummingbird on Friday. We had a good time and hope y'all did too. Thanks to Paul Lee for helping us out on bass, Abby Owens for vocals on a couple, and Catfish for making it all sound great. And thanks to Levy Lowrey & the Community House Band for getting things started... check 'em out... they are a great band. We hope to play with them again soon.

In the mean time, join The Bearfoot Hookers on their return to The Hummingbird in Macon, GA. It's been a while since we've enjoyed the hospitality of the fine folks down in Macon and we're looking forward to it. The show is Friday, July 20. Our friend Levi Lowrey and his Community House Band kicks off the show and The Hookers will be primed and ready by showtime. Hope to see y'all there.
